KFHS was founded in Canterbury on  June 28, 1974 > More  

Canterbury is the nearest branch of Kent Family History Society for those living in Faversham, Fordwich, Herne Bay, Whitstable, The Blean, the Elham Valley and, of course, the City of Canterbury. A warm welcome is extended to all and unless stated to the contrary we meet monthly on the 2nd Friday at St Andrew's United Reformed Church Canterbury  > Map & Directions 

> Kent Family History Society  is the oldest and largest family history society in Kent. From its foundation, in 1974 in Canterbury, it's membership is now worldwide. Today there are six branches, holding regular meetings in Kent, and the Global branch where Members may 'meet' electronically. Annual Membership, starts from £9 per annum and unless otherwise stated covers attendance at all or any of the Society's branches.   > About Membership
